Mostly evergreen shrub 3x3’. Flowers almost year round with lavender flowers.

Grow in full to part sun, with moderate water, hardy to 0° F.

The flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies.

One of the plants alternately called “Mexican oregano” and is used as such (don’t overcook it, you will lose the flavor).

There are 8 species of Poliomintha native to the southwestern United States, Haiti, and northern Mexico. The name Poliomintha comes from the Greek words polios, meaning "gray", and minthe, meaning "mint".

Native to a restricted area in central Coahuila, Mexico.
